Unmanned surface and underwater vehicles designed for Morocco's Atlantic and Mediterranean operating environments. Built for survey, patrol, and subsurface inspection missions.
The USV-5 is a 5.2-meter catamaran-hull unmanned surface vehicle designed for coastal patrol, hydrographic survey, and environmental monitoring. The twin-hull configuration provides superior stability in beam seas compared to monohull designs of equivalent length, enabling reliable sensor operation at sea state 4 without stabilization hardware.
Propulsion is via twin outboard electric motors with full redundancy. Navigation is handled by a tightly coupled GS-2 INS/GNSS module with AIS transponder integration. The modular amidship payload bay supports sensor configuration changes without returning to a maintenance facility - antenna arrays, sonar transducers, and optical systems mount via a standardized rail and connector system.
Communications use the CM-4A module for encrypted line-of-sight links, supplemented by Iridium satellite for over-the-horizon operations. An autonomous collision avoidance system implements COLREGS-compliant behavior for safe operation in mixed maritime traffic.

The UUV-2A is a torpedo-form autonomous underwater vehicle designed for subsurface environmental mapping, infrastructure inspection, and bathymetric survey. Its pressure-rated aluminum hull is rated to 200 m depth, covering the continental shelf and near-offshore infrastructure that represents the primary survey target for Moroccan maritime operations.
Propulsion is a single rear thruster with two vectorable bow thrusters for three-axis maneuvering capability - enabling station-keeping in moderate currents and precise positioning for inspection tasks that pure torpedo-form AUVs cannot achieve. The modular nose section accepts interchangeable payload configurations without drydocking.
The GS-2 inertial guidance module provides navigation during GPS-denied submerged operation. A Doppler velocity log and acoustic positioning transponder supplement inertial navigation for long-duration missions. Surface communication uses acoustic modem while submerged, switching to radio on surfacing.
