Division 05

Investment Case

An honest overview of what we are building, where we are in the process, and what kind of investors we are looking to work with.

Where We Stand
Stage
Early Dev
Pre-revenue. Active hardware development across all divisions.
Founded
2024
Casablanca, Morocco. Engineering-led founding team.
Seeking
Aligned Capital
Investors who understand deep-tech hardware timelines. No hype-driven capital.
Market
North Africa
Primary initial market. Long-term addressable market extends globally.
The Opportunity

Why This. Why Now. Why Here.

The autonomous systems market is expanding structurally across every domain: agriculture, maritime operations, civil infrastructure, logistics, and security. Most of this demand in North and West Africa is currently met by platforms designed and manufactured elsewhere.

KVK MAI is positioned to change that. We are not building a single product. We are building an engineering platform that generates systems, components, and proprietary IP that compound in value over time. Our Technology division creates components we use internally and can license externally. Our operational divisions create the engineering demand that drives continued R&D investment.

We are pre-revenue and in early development. We are not projecting near-term returns. We are looking for investors who understand what it means to build something permanent in deep-tech hardware, and who want to be part of establishing Morocco as a credible autonomous systems manufacturer.

If that is the right risk-return profile for you, we want to talk.

Key Investment Highlights
01
First-Mover in Domestic Manufacturing
Morocco has no established autonomous systems manufacturer. KVK MAI intends to be the first, with long-term positioning across North and West African markets before international competition arrives.
02
Vertical Integration Reduces Risk
Core avionics, airframes, and software are designed in-house. This reduces supply chain exposure, increases IP density over time, and gives us direct control over product quality and iteration speed.
03
Multiple Revenue Pathways
Five divisions create parallel revenue channels: platform sales, component licensing, maintenance contracts, data services, and institutional R&D partnerships. Not dependent on a single product or customer.
04
Structural Market Demand
Demand for autonomous platforms across agriculture, maritime monitoring, logistics, and security is structural, not cyclical. The market is growing independent of economic conditions.
05
Engineering-Led Team
The founding team has direct hands-on experience in UAV design, embedded flight systems, structural CAD, and hardware development. We build what we understand. That is the right foundation for a hardware company.
06
Morocco as a Strategic Base
Political stability, growing aerospace sector, proximity to European markets, and improving industrial infrastructure make Morocco a viable base for both development and eventual scaled manufacturing.
Honest Risk Assessment

What You Should Know

We do not hide the difficulty of what we are building. Deep-tech hardware ventures carry real risks. Here is our honest assessment.

Timeline Risk

Hardware development takes longer than software. Regulatory certification adds further time. We are not projecting short development cycles. Investors should expect a multi-year horizon before revenue.

Capital Intensity

Hardware requires physical manufacturing, tooling, and test infrastructure. Each iteration cycle has a real cost. We are capital-efficient by design, but this is not a software business.

Regulatory Environment

Autonomous systems, particularly air and sea platforms, are subject to aviation and maritime regulations that vary by country and are actively evolving. Certification timelines are uncertain.

Market Development

In some target markets, particularly domestic, the customer base for autonomous systems is still developing. First-mover advantage requires educating the market, not just serving it.

Development Roadmap
